David's Bridal Premieres White by Vera Wang

Vera branches out.

"World renowned bridal designer, Vera Wang will debut her highly anticipated inaugural collection for David's Bridal, White by Vera Wang, in Spring 2011.

The collection will include a wide variety of looks showcasing Vera Wang's classic feminine detailing and modern approach to bridal design. Gowns will range from classic ballroom styles to modern slim silhouettes.

The Spring 2011 collection of White by Vera Wang bridal gowns will be available in select David's Bridal stores nationwide beginning February 2011, all priced between $600 - $1,500. At launch, 150 stores across the US will carry the line while all David's Bridal locations will offer brides the ability to order their desired gown.

"I'm excited to partner with David's Bridal as the exclusive retailer for the White by Vera Wang collection," says Vera Wang. "This collection embraces my true design aesthetic and through David's Bridal, I look forward to sharing my creative vision with brides across the country."

We always have less to say about bridalwear than the average Bitter Kitten. Just not our world, darlings. We have opinions, of course. We wouldn't be us if we didn't have opinions. We just don't have a lot of really interesting things to say about this particular genre of clothing. YOU kittens always do, however, and a Saturday afternoon is the perfect time to argue on the internet about strapless gowns. Because yes, it's mostly strapless gowns.

Still, say what you will, Vera Wang has made her name synonymous with bridal and she did it by producing one gorgeous gown after another.

It's a pretty collection, no doubt about it. Of course the real story here is the price point, which puts Vera Wang in the hands of a lot of brides who couldn't have afforded it otherwise.
