If French people are the best at creating laid-back eclectic spaces then Italians are the best in combining slick modern furniture with antiqued, elaborate architecture such as ancient villas and palaces, per se. These two homes, both in Torino, Piedmont, Italy, photographed by Adriano Bacchella illustrate that idea. Adriano Bacchella is an Italian photographer who has photographed luxury hotels and homes worldwide including the Fendi homes in Italy. I'm not sure if the first two images belong to Anna Fendi, but it's referred to it as Anna's in his website. Either way, I love how only the use of sculptural furniture don't need much accessories, keeping the room uncluttered.
A red Arne Jacobsen chair contrasts so well with the yellow walls and the mid-century Italian black leather chairs.
