There are only a few other colors bolder than red. A little can go a long way and when used in high lacquered furniture it can always add such a chic factor into a room. There is so much color going on in fashion right now that it feels like everyone is getting more and more comfortable wearing them. I myself have my eyes on a pair of emerald green I spotted over the weekend and I think I'm going back for them this week.

Plum done well

If I'm asked what's the most difficult color to pull off, I would say Purple. It is a color with a lot of different shades, but when done right can be quite breath taking. As these images prove it. In the first image, purple is used in degradation with accents of black and gold, lush fabric and smoked glass fireplace frame (doesn't that look amazing?). The gilded neo-classical mirror and the whimsy Fornasetti chairs brake with what could be monotonous. In the second image, probably my favorite way, purple is combined with two or three different colors. But, because they are all on the same scale there is a lot of harmony and no clash.

Sancho Pancho

I've been smitten by Chloe since I ever remember and have been coveting one of their capes for an even longer time. Their clothes are always soft and feminine with a touch of youthfulness seduction that I can relate to and would feel utterly feminine while wearing them. These images below are from their pre-fall 2011 collection and the poncho... is undoubtedly to die for.

In a day like today when there is literally no visibility across the Hudson river. I mean for as much as I love gray I really prefer not see it in Nature. I don't want to think of anything else but color, color pups of color.
