The Blues

So growing up, my very favorite color was blue (royal blue specifically).  Blue everything - room, clothes, sporting gear, etc.  As I've grown up (and mature - hahaha), I've come to love TONS of colors - all colors, mixing colors, wearing clashing colors, etc. But still blue is always a color I gravitate towards...

Swish Swish

Maxis and midis are my new best friends (as seen here, here, here and here).  After years of all minis, I'm so excited for the longer hems.  If for nothing else, but more options.  The length on a skirt can really change up an entire outfit.  And it is way more work appropriate.

Plus, the flowing fabric is fun to play with and moves with you as you walk.  This skirt was the 3rd item of my 1st ASOS order.

Shoe of the Day: Wedgy Crush

I have a major crush on wedges this season.  Wedges to me are SO comfy, and allow me to get some height and wear fun sandals, but keep my footsies comfy. So I got new shoes.  Really cute ones. Meet Jaxon.

Coral and Ice

I am loving fiery coral right now.  And mixed with this printed skirt, and an loose jacket, I really loved this outfit.  Plus the bright color made me feel really cherry. :)

And I must show you a close up of a newer necklace of mine!  It's very J.Crew bling-esque, but actually from a very unexpected store for me!  I found it while holiday shopping for others, and had to pick it up...

Shoe of the Day: Suede Wedges

Perfect for fall...suede wedges.  Anything in gray, I love.

So I got them.  Target Merona Myka Suede Wedges and I used a $5 off Merona coupon in the latest InStyle & People magazines.  IRL:

In store, there was gray (the ones I got/wearing), taupe and black.  Online I saw plum - which would be totally cute!

I'm sure you are all aware of TOMS shoes?  For every pair of TOMS shoes you buy, a new pair are given to children in need.  Pretty good deal, don't you think?

I've known about this brand and while I thought the original TOMS were kinda cute, but just couldn't picture myself wearing them, just not my style...

Oh but now... I'm thinking these new wedges are DARLING!

I have found Target's shoes to be pretty comfy and reliable. They may not last for years and years - but they are definitely good for a year or two! You can never go wrong with their prices, especially the clearance prices - good deals!

(re)Shoe of the Day - Embellished Wedge

I posted these awhile go, but now they are on sale - and I still really love them. I think I will try to hunt them down this weekend and if I don't find them in-store, order online. They are too fun.

Shoe of the Day - Coach Wedges

I'm in Chicago - been in work meetings, but get to stay the weekend to have fun. I have already hit the shops though...!! My co-workers, Filene's Basement and I had a good time. I scored a beautiful pair of coach wedges for cheap. They are so pretty and comfy.

You can score these beauties yourself through Ebay, variety colors and sizes.

Oh how I love Chicago...I've gotten a few other things...Jeans (skinny jeans, which I NEVER thought I could wear - but the brand I got - post on that to follow soon - really changed my view), Jewelry, and Fun bedazzled Michael Jackson-esq short sleeve zipper card (hah, long discription, I'll post a pic soon, because I think it's so funny - in a good way).

Most excited to hit up J.Crew and Anthro!!! They have better and bigger stores here than in KC and I am READY!!!! So I'll follow up with my, hopefully, exciting purchases soon....!!!
